Designer Carol Romano travels to the cities, ancient bazaars and outer regions of Morocco, Turkey, Syria and beyond. She has studied the art of the carpet from long-established merchants and Berber weavers in Morocco. Her deepening respect and appreciation for the history, extraordinary craft work and creativity of these ancient lands, inspires her to search for the finest and most unusual object d'art and crafts for the Western home.
